Sheriff John HENRY Mattox (1872-1917) Parents: John Mattox & Cynthia Boutwell

Our great grandfather died of pneumonia shortly after he was elected Sheriff of Holmes County. He married Nellie L. Patrick of Georgia. My grandmother, Lillian, was 18 when her father passed and still living at home.
