Uncle John Mattox Dead

Uncle John Mattox died this morning 2:30 o'clock at the home of his late son J. H. Mattox. Uncle John had been an invalid for the past several months. Recently he suffered a stroke of paralysis since which time he gradually grew weaker until his death relieved him of his sufferings. He was 68 years of age and one of the pioneer citizens of this section.
